Kathy Ireland in the House!

We're excited to report that Kathy Ireland made a visit to our West LA store yesterday.

She even took photos with our store's personnel.

Kathy was highlighting items from her Kathy Ireland Home Collection following by an MSNBC news crew. She will be featured in an upcoming segment chronicling a day in the life of an entrepreneur.

I'll follow up once the segment airs.

Spinning the Color Wheel - Blue

Before and After in the Washington Post

A recent "House Calls" makeover feature in the online version of the Washington Post has a striking room re-do that features LAMPS PLUS lighting.

Local designers Meredith Ericksen and Laura Caccese used our Four Arm Marbleized Glass Arc Floor Lamp, a Dark Bronze Balance Arm Energy Saver Pharmacy Floor Lamp, and a Kichler Ribbons Porcelain Table Lamp in their refreshing design.

New Shade Looks from A' Homestead Shoppe

We're a big fan of A' Homestead Shoppe and their wonderfully decorative lamp shades. From their headquarters located on owner Bruce Albert's family farm (Albert is the "A" in the company name), A' Homestead Shoppe designers have crafted a new collection of lamp shades with a brand new look.

Says spokesperson Cathy Clough:

"We have tended to lean somewhat toward some country looks. However, our customer's look is changing and so are we!

This collection was introduced to "walk the line" between our faithful country customer's wants but to also capture a new customer with traditional and contemporary drum shades.

We've done more neutral colors, natural linens and nubby tweeds. We can't keep the naturals and the drum shades in stock!"
